Is the free plan really free forever?
Yes — no time limit, no credit card required. The Freemium plan is free forever. You only pay transaction fees (3.0% + $0.15) on card sales. Cash sales have no fee.
What cards can I accept on the free plan?
The free plan uses Tap to Pay via your iPhone's NFC chip. This accepts all major contactless cards and digital wallets — Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. Cards that require chip insertion or magnetic swipe need the M2 reader, which is only available on the Premium plan.
What is the early adopter discount?
The regular price for Membrzs Market Premium will be $24.99/month. Early adopters who sign up before we hit general availability lock in $19.99/month — a $5 saving — for as long as they remain subscribed. The price is guaranteed not to increase while you maintain an active subscription.
Do you charge fees on cash transactions?
No. Cash transactions bypass Stripe entirely and carry no processing fee on either plan. This is standard across the POS industry — Square also earns nothing on cash sales.
What is the M2 reader and do I need one?
The Stripe M2 is a compact Bluetooth card reader that handles chip and swipe cards that can't be accepted via Tap to Pay alone. If most of your customers pay contactlessly or with Apple/Google Pay, you may not need one. It's available for $79 on the Premium plan and comes pre-configured and fully supported.
Can I sign up through the app instead?
Yes. You can create your Membrzs Market account directly in the app on iOS or Android. The early adopter discount will also be available in-app during the launch period.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — no contracts, no cancellation fees. Cancel anytime from within the app or by contacting support. Your Premium access continues until the end of your current billing period.
