1. Overview

Membrzs ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Membrzs Market point-of-sale platform. We send SMS messages exclusively for two strictly operational, transactional purposes:

We do not send marketing, promotional, or mass-broadcast SMS messages. All messages are transactional and are only sent upon explicit, affirmative consent.

2. Program 1 — Staff Security Codes (OTP)

Who receives these messages

Internal staff members of businesses using the Membrzs Market platform. These are employees or contractors who have been onboarded by their organization's account administrator.

How consent is obtained

During the account setup or login process, the staff member is prompted to enter their mobile phone number in the Membrzs application. A checkbox and disclosure text appear on screen, clearly stating that the user will receive SMS security codes to verify their identity. The user must check this box and submit the form to proceed. Consent is not implied or inferred — it requires an affirmative action by the user.

The disclosure presented to the user at time of opt-in reads:

"By entering your phone number and checking this box, you consent to receive one-time security verification codes via SMS from Membrzs. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."

What messages are sent

A single SMS containing a numeric one-time password is sent each time the user initiates a login or authentication action requiring verification. Example:

Your Membrzs verification code is: 582104. This code expires in 5 minutes. Reply STOP to opt out.

Message frequency

Messages are sent only when a login or security verification is initiated by the user. Frequency depends on the user's login activity — typically 1–5 messages per week per active user.

3. Program 2 — Customer Transaction Receipts

Who receives these messages

Retail customers who make a purchase at a vendor stand using the Membrzs Market point-of-sale system and who verbally request a text receipt at the time of purchase.

How consent is obtained

At the point of sale, the vendor's staff member verbally asks the customer whether they would like a digital receipt sent by text message. If the customer says yes, the staff member enters the customer's phone number into the Membrzs Market application. Before the receipt is sent, a disclosure message is displayed on the POS screen that the customer can read, clearly stating that a text message will be sent containing a link to their receipt and how to opt out.

No receipt is sent until the customer has verbally consented and the staff member has entered the phone number and confirmed the disclosure. Customers who do not request a text receipt are never contacted.

The on-screen disclosure shown in the application at the time of opt-in reads:

"A one-time SMS receipt will be sent to this number. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."

What messages are sent

A single SMS is sent per transaction containing a link to the customer's digital receipt. No further messages are sent to that number unless the customer separately consents in a future transaction. Example:

Thank you for your purchase via Membrzs Market! View your digital receipt here: https://membrzs.com/r/ex123. Reply STOP to opt out.

Message frequency

One message per transaction. Customers are not added to any ongoing messaging list — each text receipt is a standalone, one-time message triggered only by that specific transaction.

4. Opting Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from Membrzs at any time by replying to any message with one of the following keywords:

After sending STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message:

You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe.

After opting out, no further messages will be sent to your number unless you separately and affirmatively re-consent. Staff members may also manage their SMS preferences within the Membrzs application settings.

Help response

Replying HELP to any message will return:

5. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Please check with your mobile carrier for details on your messaging plan. Membrzs does not charge recipients for SMS messages.
