Creating Your Vendor Account & Linking Stripe Connect

How to register your vendor business, complete Stripe Connect identity verification, and manage your payout account.

1. Create Your Vendor Account

  • Web — required on iPhone/iPad: Go to portal.membrzs.com/signup and create an account. iOS vendors complete the whole setup here, then install the app from the App Store and sign in.
  • Android app: Open the Membrzs Market app and tap Register, entering your name, email, password, and business name.

Either way, you'll land in the same onboarding steps next — on iPhone/iPad in your web browser, on Android in the app.

2. Complete Your Store Profile

Fill in your Store Name, Phone, and Street Address (address autocomplete helps fill in city/state/ZIP automatically). A full address is required because it's used to set up your card reader location with Stripe — you can update it anytime later from Settings.

3. Choose a Plan

Pick Freemium, Lite, Premium, Team, or Enterprise. Paid plans include a 30-day free trial with no card required to start; if you choose a paid plan you'll be asked to add a payment method next. On iPhone/iPad this step is on the web portal; on Android it's in the app's setup wizard. See "Managing Vendor Plan Tiers & Seat Limits" for what each plan includes.

4. Connect Stripe Connect

  1. On the Accept Card Payments step (in the web portal on iPhone/iPad, or the app's wizard on Android), tap Set Up with Stripe →.
  2. You'll be taken to a hosted Stripe form to complete identity verification (KYC) — it takes about 2 minutes.
  3. Finish the form, then come back and tap I've Finished — Check Status. If Stripe hasn't confirmed completion yet, you'll be asked to finish the form and check again.
  4. You can also tap Skip for now and connect Stripe later from Config > Payment Setup — cash payments always work without it.

Your card processing rate is shown on this screen and depends on your plan:

Premium / Team 2.8% + $0.10 per transaction
Enterprise Custom, set per vendor

Tap to Pay transactions on Lite, Premium, and Team also include an additional itemized $0.15 Tap to Pay fee, shown separately on receipts and order details.

5. Managing Payouts & Reconnecting Later

Once Stripe is connected, go to Config > Payment Setup in the app (or the Payouts page in the Web Portal) any time to:

  • Set your payout schedule — Daily, Weekly, or Monthly. See Getting Paid: Payout Timing & Schedule.
  • Tap Open Stripe Dashboard → to change your payout bank account, view your balance, or update tax information.
  • Tap Update Account Details to re-open the Stripe verification form (e.g. if Stripe requests more information).

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can connect or manage Stripe?

Only Owners and Managers can access Payment Setup / Billing in Config.

What if I skip Stripe during signup?

You can still process cash sales. Card payments stay disabled until Stripe onboarding is completed, at which point they turn on automatically.
