Cart Editing, Quantity Steppers & Auto-Scroll

The cart is built for fast one-handed edits at the register — quantity steppers on every unit line, and it automatically keeps the newest item in view.

1. Quantity Steppers (Unit-Priced Items)

  1. Tap the cart bar and expand the cart, or add a product from the grid or list.
  2. Each unit-priced line shows and + buttons alongside its quantity.
  3. Tap + to add one more of that item; tap to remove one.
  4. Tapping on a line with a quantity of 1 removes the line from the cart entirely rather than showing a "0."
  5. Tapping a product tile again (instead of using the stepper) also adds one more unit — both do the same thing.

2. Weight-Priced Lines Work Differently

Weight-priced items don't show a stepper — instead of /+, the line just shows the entered weight (e.g. "1.25 lb"). Tapping on a weight line removes that entire line at once; there's no partial-weight decrement. To adjust a weight, remove the line and re-add the product with the corrected weight.

3. Auto-Scroll to the Newest Item

Every time you add something to the cart, the cart view automatically scrolls to the bottom so your most recent addition is visible without you having to scroll down manually — useful when you're moving quickly through a long order.

4. Removing Items and Clearing the Cart

  • To remove a single unit-priced item completely regardless of its quantity, tap repeatedly until it disappears, or use the discount/comp action sheet (long-press the line) if you actually want to comp or discount it instead of removing it.
  • To empty the whole cart at once, tap Clear in the cart header — you'll be asked to confirm before anything is removed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I type in an exact quantity instead of tapping + repeatedly?

No — unit items only support incrementing/decrementing one at a time via the steppers (or by tapping the product tile again). For large quantities of weight-priced goods, enter the weight directly instead.

Does clearing the cart also clear an in-progress discount or tip?

Yes — clearing the cart resets any applied order discount and tip along with the items, so the next order starts clean.
